The transfer of the image?
I'm working on a painting for my AP art class and I was wondering what are the differnet ways of transferring a Xerox image on the canvas.
You could use acetone to transfer it. You provide the copy on the canvas after tape in place so it does not move, or simply use your hand to hold, then put the acetone in a thin cloth or a shirt and Go in the back of the copy and press him hard enough and make sure that its quite wet enough cushioning the paper you're using, but try not to soak. you can periodically check to see if the transfer is successful, if not then you rub on it again. Make sure the photocopy is dark enough or will have problems. I think you want to transfer the entire image as is, but if you just want to transfer the drawing can also be used carbon paper and carbon paper put on the canvas after Xerox on carbon paper and go over the lines photo copying, etc to transfer it. You must press a little hard to make sure transfers as well like if you were using acetone. Another alternative is to iron on transfer and copy the sheet and iron on the canvas, although I'm not sure how well it works depending on the material you are using you could make the method graph of the other person mentioned or copy the image on acetate and use of a project and project the image onto the canvas, but acetone is probably your best bet for the transfer originals more accurate, if that's what we're going. The others require that the design envelope, with the exception of acetone and iron on transfer that may or may not work gesso on canvas before.
