Pages laser printer print solid black on the lower third of the page.
I have a Lexmark T430. Ok worked for a long time, but then ran out of toner. I purchased an OEM Lexmark toner, replaced and tried to print the printer configuration of printers internal settings. The top 1 / 3 of the page prints the text but the background is in strips (sp?). The bottom 2 / 3 of the pages in black are solids. Is this can be fixed? Thanks for any help.
The first part is easy, do not shake the cartridge before installing it? The second part sounds as if you have of a defective cartridge. any reason I can think of to do this in the whole page and not only the bottom 2 / 3 Take the cartridge back and tell them what's going on. What if the replacement PSU you have a problem.
