Strengths / Features:
- Heatseal The GBC H210 is designed specifically for small organizations that need to laminate documents on a budget. It is the lowest priced laminator from GBC that is capable of laminating letter and legal size documents. With a market price of about $ 115, this makes the H210 the perfect choice for small offices and home offices that are on a budget.
- The H210 has a 9.5 "throat that is ideal for laminating small documents and documents that are as large as letter size (9" x 11.5 " pouches) and legal size (9 "x 14.5" pouches).
- The GBC H210 Heatseal has readyglo technology which means that the throat of the laminator will turn green when ready for rolling. It has a five minutes warm-up time is pretty decent for a laminator of its size.
- The H210 is designed for laminating with a company that is a strength. This prevents the buildup of adhesive on the rollers inside the machine. Also includes a jam release lever to help you quickly to and easily remove the company from the mill if it becomes jammed inside the machine.
Weaknesses / Limitations:
- The GBC H210 can handle laminating pouches that are 3mil thickness or 5 thousand. However, it is capable of handling thicker laminating pouches. For organizations that need to laminate documents with 7mil and 10mil laminating pouches, the GBC H210 is not a good option.
- Heatseal The H210 has a 9.5 "throat. This is fine for the lamination of most standard sized documents. However, it is ideal for use with long side sealed letter laminating pouches, as it is important to always feed bags in the mill with the first seal face place. The H210 is not suitable for laminating large documents such as menus or 11 "x 17" sheets. A laminator with a 12.5 "or 13" throat is necessary for that application.
- The GBC H210 has a small tray at the rear exit of the mill. However, the output tray actually is not large enough to hold standard letter-size documents or of almost any size document. This makes the output tray is essentially useless in this laminator. It is actually easier to just leave folded into the back of the machine.
Recommendation:
- The GBC H210 pouch laminator Heatseal and the machine is excellent for a small office or home you are looking for laminating letter size and legal documents.
- The H210 can also be used to laminate photos, name badges and luggage tags with 5 thousand bags lamination.
- The limited width the H210 and the inability to handle thicker laminating pouches are not amenable to high-volume applications. However, it is an excellent laminating machine at a price excellent for organizations on a budget.
