The other day I opened a PO box at my local store Canada Post. A girl in training was helping me. Because of its inexperience, it took about 15 minutes to process information. During this time, a cartel of 10 clients built up behind me. Feeling sorry for her, I walked away hoping that not going to cry for all the customers waiting. I saw a couple of days later and asked if he had any customers angry after my departure. Surprised, she said no and smiled and said ....' I was totally focused on you and what you had to do, because if I was in line behind you, I would have freaked!
My dad had a camera Rikoh, the hottest model and newest in time (25 years) who had a red dot in the center of the lens. If your eyes focused on the point, and played with the lens to the point came into focus, then were ready to shoot the photo. If the item was out of focus, then the image was out of focus. I am sure that this was very revoluntary at the time.

Focusing is a learned skill, easily trainable and accessible. Through practice, you can focus automatically, unconsciously, bring your body and mind in the lineup. Focusing produces calm and keeps you grounded. When the focus is centered on something, you can exclude the sounds and can increase body awareness, like breathing or heartbeat. Focusing helps eliminate fear, anxiety and paralysis. If this young employee lost his focus and looked behind me, I'm sure she would have been nervous, mistakes, and probably would have taken more time with my order.
