There is no doubt that in all areas of life, things have to change depending on the consumption of land resources, and nowhere is this more evident than in the recycling of electrical and electronic waste.
Estimates show that the amount of electronic waste produced electrical and chemical life per person in the Western world is around 3.3 tons. Statistics scary, but certainly great strides being made in legislation and environmental standards in the electronics industry. The WEEE Directive in the UK and Germany "Blue Angel" scheme are two such initiatives. The sanctions against companies that ignore their responsibilities are very serious.
However, on a basis individual when it comes to buying new equipment, each can do for its part, takes time to learn more about the environmental impact of certain types of equipment.
