Is there something out there to make the shiny look laminate countertop?
I just had to install laminate counter top, I'd shine a good high gloss, it seems quite boring. Can I do anything to get more shine to the countertops?
Use sandpaper, light and slightly rough the surface. Clean thoroughly with a tack cloth or gauze with some paint thinner on it. After it dries, put 2-3 layers of VARITHANE (an incredible mix of varnish and polyurethane) sold at the hardware store. Remember to use sandpaper to clean the dust between each coat. Its high gloss worktops are more than 20 + years (I used in my bathroom and wood moldings after 25 years still looks new!) Good Luck!
