How do I enable the fingerprint reader on a laptop with Windows Vista HP?
I bought a new HP laptop last week, function and has fingerprint reader. It worked fine all these past few days, but now says that is not connected! This does not work well can not be registered with my fingerprint. In the taskbar has a "x" icon in the fingerprint reader. When I click on properties and thus, says "The fingerprint reader is not connected. Connect the reader" how can I connect the reader?! The fingerprint reader is built-in! It is impossible "connect it". Someone knows how can I solve this problem and enable the fingerprint reader? Thank you!
Try restarting it? Maybe that will solve the problem. I also have a similar laptop and it happened once, I restarted it and the fingerprint reader back to normal. I hope help!
