The CMYK printing black vs black printing using black toner used.?
At work, we print labels containing text black only. When printing, the printer uses all colors to create a black shadow, but we are having problems with this due to an alignment problem. I'm not sure what is wrong with the printer, but the text will have this ghostly image and you can see the cyan overlay text or sometimes magenta. It looks horrible. Does anyone know how to print using only black toner instead of creating them all black?
It is possible, however, really depends on the printer and software you are using to print labels. You should be able to enter the setup of the printer or the printer properties and tell the printer driver to print in grayscale, black and white or black and white. It is usually under the color of the "tab" in the printer properties.
