Can anyone replace the drum in a photocopier? copier makes enormous dark areas should I replace a drum?
I have a great Pitney Bowes (Panasonic) copier was runing great and now has huge dark areas throughout the paper. Should I replace a drum? Can anyone do it? Where is it located? thanks Pitney Bowes is D-355, which is an old photocopier. I tried to replace the drum, but after putting everything back proved to be a typo for 1 2-3 times than just beginning reset, the drum is suppost to turn easly after installed.
Messing with the drum can be dangerous. The drum is a high voltage. It would be advisable to have replaced by a professional technician
