MDMA (Ecstasy) is a designer drug first manufactured in 1914 by a German pharmaceutical company to treat obesity. MDMA is a drug commonly abused today, also known as Adam, hug, beans and love drug. MDMA causes the user to experience a very intense race (hurry) or euphoria (extreme happiness or relaxation). MDMA is a dangerous drug that can kill users the first time due to an allergy reaction. Continued use MDMA can cause severe brain damage, memory loss, motor skills and defect. Drug testing in urine is used to detect the presence of ecstasy (MDMA) as the test procedure is simple.
Specimen Collection:
MDMA abuse can be identified using the urine test method drug. The test should be performed on the same day of collection of the sample immediately after collection of urine samples. The sample must be clear with no fragments. Before testing urine samples be kept at room temperature, which is mandatory.
Test Procedure:
• In cassette type test analysis, with the help of a dropper sample, take a urine sample cup of the sample and slowly release 3 drops (approximately 120uL) in the circular sample well. Should be taken not overfill the absorbent.
• In one type of test strip dipping (DIP) from the strip into the urine with the arrowhead pointing toward the urine. Care must be taken that the maximum line is not covered in the urine. This band is taken after keeping it in the urine for a minimum of 15 seconds and must be set firmly on a clean surface absorption.
Dipcard In one type of test, immerse (DIP) the absorber (sponge) tip in the urine sample for 5 seconds. Care must be taken that the urine sample does not touch the plastic device. Then you must close with the lid on the absorbent tip placed flat on a clean surface absorption.
Interpretation of results:
For all types of test, the results should be studied after five minutes.
• The result is positive if only a rose pink color band appears in control 'region C'. There will be no band appeared in the test of 'region of T'. A positive result indicates the level of MDMA is superior to the sensitivity of detection of 500 ng / ml.
• The result is negative, if two pink pink color bands are developing a monitoring band 'region C', the other in the test of 'region T'. A negative result indicates that the level of MDMA is below the detection sensitivity of 500 ng / ml.
The test is said to be valid if there is no specific color band visible or transparent as in the proof of 'T' and control regions 'C', or if there is a visible band test only 'region of T' and the region, not control "C". The sample must be reconsidered again.
