Why are Canon and Nikon sales of new camera models?
I mean, "Not the camera, the photographer," right? Why do professional photographers use expensive Hasselblads, Canon, Nikon, and Linhofs? It is the camera that makes good pictures, is the photographer. Right?
My God, Oh my God. A photographer is the person who makes the image not the camera. The quality of the camera and lens determines the quality of final product of that good image. Pro cameras use many "bog standard" SLR / DSLR 's to 8x10 view cameras specialist. There are many reasons, from the durability of the camera through which the final output size will be. A good photographer will be able to produce a great shot with 8MP Point & Shoot camera or a £ 5000 "pro" SLR. However, if the end result will be in A3 size or larger than the P & S will be totally and completely useless as the print quality will suffer the largest sets. "bad" cause poor image photographer any equipment they use. medium format is capable of producing better quality large prints / output and inner vision which is greater. Yes, it is the photographer who does "good" pictures. It is the camera and the treatment, yet it produces "good" quality results. And, of course - Pro SLR / DSLR 's have a better quality construction and therefore are more robust. My D3 have between 1 and 10,000 shots a week (depending on assignments) and have to endure low temperature conditions zero to the boiling hot and be able to function and produce excellent quality shots upto poster size. No "cheap" camera will be able to handle that kind of "abuse" is therefore another reason for the expensive cameras. If you do not understand that, then you should not bother. "
